About this event

Amigas in Wellness presents the Spring Equinox with Breath Work, Acupuncture, & Sound Bath. Celebrate the fresh energy of the Spring Equinox with a rejuvenating wellness experience designed to align your mind, body, and spirit!


You can look forward to a revitalizing breathwork practice, acupuncture to harmonize your body, and deeply immersive acoustics of sound bath meditation to rejuvenate the nervous system. Our Breathwork and Sound Meditation will be lead by certified practitioner, Tiffany Leonardo and Acupuncture by Dr. Jasmine Walton Doctor of Chinese Medicine and Organic Chemistry Professor. This experience has lovingly been brought to life by our Event Director, Erika Omaña.


This day is designed to help you release the old and embrace new beginnings. Connect with a like-minded amigas in a sacred space of renewal, balance, and intention-setting as we welcome the season of growth and possibility. 🌿✨

What to bring

A water bottle, pen/journal, and your lovely energy

Do I need to bring a yoga mat?

No, mats will be provided.

Does acupuncture hurt?

When an acupuncture needle is inserted in the body, you will feel a tiny prick and some gentle pressure as the needle goes through the tissue. Sometimes people feel tingling, warmth or a heavy sensation when the needle is inserted. Most people feel deeply relaxed after and at times even fall asleep.

What should I wear?

Wear something comfortable that allows you to relax.

Is parking available?

Parking is street parking only, so please allow extra time to find a spot nearby.

I’m not Latina, can I still attend?

YES! While we center Latinas in wellness, our events are open to all who align with our mission of healing, connection, and community.

Can men attend Amigas in Wellness events?

Amigas in Wellness events are designed with Latinas in mind, creating a space for women to connect, grow, and experience wellness together. However, everyone is welcome to join and share in the experience! Please note that the majority of our attendees are women.
