This free (tickets not required) Battlefield tour is not often offered. It ties in with the 2:00 PM 2nd Sunday Lecture on the "Real Molly Pitcher" March 9th. Both are presented by FOMB's president and award-winning author Dr. David Martin. Dr. Martin is also the author of “A Molly Pitcher Sourcebook” (2003).
During this tour, you will visit the different spots that have claimed to be the location of Molly Pitcher’s well. The tour will end at the Molly Pitcher Overlook on Perrine Hill. Meet your guide at Monmouth Battlefield State Park’s Visitor Center at 1:30 PM on March 16th.
Appropriate hiking attire is encouraged. If the weather looks questionable, call the park office for information at 732-462-9616. We will be meeting outside near the main doors. NOT ADA accessible.
