The Spartanburg County Foundation Annual Meeting returns the Chapman Cultural Center, expanding upon last year's exciting film premiere format.

Come to learn about the Foundation's work as we share "Reflecting Community" our latest film, featuring the Foundation's accomplishments in 2024 and highlights of goals for 2025 - all made possible by our donors, fundholders, and community partners.

  • Free Valet Parking Valet parking located at the west side of the Chapman Cultural Center.
  • 5:00 PM - Name tags and beverages will be available in the lobby to pick up on your way into the Theater.
  • 6 PM - Program in Theater

Frequently asked questions

Will Valet parking be available?

Valet parking will be available from the parking area on the west side of the Chapman Cultural Center for guests entering on Liberty Street between "The George" and the Chapman Cultural Center. Valet service will begin at 5 PM. There is no fee to use the valet service, drivers may receive tips.

Will food be served?

Food and beverages will be served AFTER the program in the theater and include heavy hors d'oeuvres, beer, wine, sodas, water, and mixed drinks will be available.

Must I show my ticket when I enter?

No. You may bring your ticket and give it to one of our greeters but it is not required. All registered guests will have a name tag on the table in the lobby. Please pick yours up on your way into the theater.

Will seating in the balcony be available?

Yes, guests will have their choice of seating either on the main floor or in the balcony.

Are there reserved seats?

Yes and no. We have seats reserved on the left wing of the theater to support our guests using mobility support devices such as wheelchairs or canes. All other reserved seats for speakers will be clearly marked as reserved.

How will those with hearing impairment be supported?

We have adjusted the format for our film to better accommodate those with hearing aids. While a hearing loop is provided in the theater, our film will also have closed-captioning.

Will there be seating available during the event reception?

The basic event format is a standing reception, however; a limited number of tables and chairs will be placed in the Lobby and under the event tent placed in the Chapman Cultural Center Plaza to support guests who will be more comfortable sitting down during the one hour reception.

Is this a political event?

No. The Spartanburg County Foundation is strictly a non-political organization. We do not allow political activities or campaigning at our events. Please do not wear any form of political advertising such as campaign buttons.

What should I wear?

Business attire is appropriate for our Annual Meeting. Many will be coming directly from work.
