Sistas-in-Law Inaugural Reception in Honor of Women's History Month

Come join us for a fabulous evening celebrating the amazing women who have paved the way for so many in the legal community! This milestone gathering, held during Women’s History Month, will celebrate two extraordinary legal trailblazers: Judge Joyce Williams Warren and Dean Cynthia Nance. It's a chance to connect, inspire, and uplift each other. Let's come together to celebrate sisterhood and empowerment! Don't miss out on this special occasion.

Sistas-in-Law, Inc. was established in 2024 to address the persistent underrepresentation of Black women in the legal profession. Systemic barriers continue to hinder access to legal education, mentorship, and leadership opportunities, making it crucial to create a more inclusive and equitable legal landscape. By fostering a strong support network, Sistas-in-Law, Inc. is committed to the recruitment, retention, and advancement of Black women in law.
