This is an introductory ZOOM class to learn the basics of making and using soy paint and paste. Starting with the beans, students can either watch or make along with instructor, the several steps to the final milk and color paints. A detailed list of supplies and what to have ready for the class will be provided after signup. Several ways to use the paints will be explored. This a non toxic way to paint and print!

Skill Level: Adult Beginners

Supplies Needed: Besides soy beans all supplies are easliy attainable. A pdf for all supplies will sent on signup.

About Christine:

Christine Harrison is a visual artist living on the Oregon Coast. She uses the botanical abundance of her habitat as the beginning of her paintings, prints and sculpture. She is working to take plastics and toxic materials out of her art process. She has been a practicing artist 40 years receiving a MFA (1989) from California College of the Arts, San Francisco, CA.
