Are you sick of Winter? So are we! Join us for a morning of exploration to see the emerging plants and animals of spring. This program will feature a guided walk around the grounds of Pace University's newly renamed Suburban Biodiversity Conservation Center (formerly the Dyson College Nature Center). Program attendees should wear comfortable hiking clothes and shoes, as well as prepare for a moderate hike. Cameras and Binoculars are encouraged!

What is the Suburban Biodiversity Conservation Center?

The SBCC or "Conservation Center" for short, is what was formerly known as the Dyson College Nature Center and Institute for Sustainability and the Environment. Our organization is exactly the same, just operating under a new, more descriptive name!

How do I get to the Conservation Center?

We are located on the Pleasantville campus of Pace University at 861 Bedford Road. All attendees should enter through University ENTRANCE 3 to be appropriately guided to the Conservation Center.

Will there be access to bathrooms and water fountains?

Yes, our meeting spot at the Environmental Center Classroom will have bathrooms and water fountains to use before we start our hike.
