Welcome to Central Ohio Shifting Gears Training!

Shifting Gears: The Blunt Truth About Marijuana & Driving is a train-the-trainer program developed by AAA Northeast that is designed to educate young drivers on the risks of marijuana impaired driving. The program combines instructor-led discussion and interactive features. SADD representatives train others to disseminate this program to high school students. Those trained to deliver the program include, but may not be limited to:

· School Resource Officers

· Other Law Enforcement

· Ohio Safe Communities Coalitions (Ohio Safe Communities | Ohio Traffic Safety Office)

· Educators

Doors open at 10:45AM, training begins at 11:00AM. Trainings take about 2.5 hours and are conducted in a classroom setting. This event will be held at the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
