Welcome to the Sheepdog Response Overland Rendezvous! Get ready for a day filled with adventure, learning, and fun. Join us on Sat Apr 05 2025 at 09:00 AM at Sheepdog Response/Gracie Humaita Cedar Park. This event is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, overland enthusiasts, and anyone looking to learn new skills. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, there's something for everyone at the Overland Rendezvous. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and expand your knowledge. Local and national vendors will be in attendance including: Thor Off Road, AJs Yotas, Alu-Cab awnings, and more.

Families are encouraged to attend the Overland Rendezvous to enjoy a fun, educational day together! This event offers a unique opportunity for all ages to learn valuable survival and outdoor skills, experience hands-on activities, and bond over shared adventures. Whether your kids are learning about vehicle recovery, participating in safe outdoor workouts, or simply enjoying the outdoors, it’s an event that everyone can enjoy and benefit from. It will be a pet friendly event (please keeps pets leashed and come prepared to clean up messes).

The day will kick off with an all ages Protector Fitness workout brought to you by Sheepdog Response and led by Tim Kennedy followed by trauma management, situational awareness, and vehicle recovery clinics that are all free to attend. Registration for this event is free and there will be raffles onsite to raise money for Heroes Jiu Jitsu a 501c3 that offers free training to Veterans, Law Enforcement, First Responders, and their families. Prizes include Sheepdog Response courses, overland accesories, training gear and more (all proceeds go Heroes Jiu-Jitsu).

There will be a Best Overland Vehicle Contest (register your vehicle at: https://BESTOVERLANDREG.eventbrite.com). The competition offers two prestigious awards: Best Overlander, judged by experts based on capability, innovation, and design, and Crowd Favorite, voted on by event attendees. Winners will take home top-tier overland accessories to upgrade their rigs and Free Sheepdog Response Courses, where they'll learn elite survival, self-defense, and emergency preparedness skills.

Are pets welcome?

Yes. All family members including pets are welcome. Owners are responsible for their pets at all times. Pets must remain on a leash at the event. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after pets (please come prepared for pets cleanup).

Where does the money from the raffles go to?

All proceeds from the raffle are given to Heroes Jiu-Jitsu a non-profit 501c3 that provides free jiu-jitsu training to veterans, law enforcement, first responders, and their families.

Can I bring my overland vehicle if I am not competing?

Absolutely! You don't have to compete if you just want to overland it over to the event.

Do I have to participate in the workout or Jiu-jitsu classes?

No. The classes are available for everyone attending the vent free of charge. You can take part, just spectate, or spend your time browsing the event. You're choice!

Can I register my vehicle at the door?

Owners who wish to participate in the Best Overland Vehicle contest should register at the link provided prior to the event. A maximum of 100 vehicles will be allowed to compete. First-come first-served.

What is the cost to attend?

Nothing. The event is free to attend. Raffle tickets will be sold at the event but all the classes and clinics at the event are free of charge.

What if it rains?

This is a "Rain or Shine" event. If the weather is severe or presents a hazard to participants it may be postponed.

Where can I park?

Spots will be designated for Best Overland Vehicle entries. All remaining attendees can park in available spaces at Sheepdog Response and along Clover Lane (next to the Sheepdog Response lot to the North). No parking permitted in any of the adjacent businesses properties.

Is Parking Free for this event?

Yes. Parking is free.
