Welcome to Shake Your Soul: The Yoga of Dance! Join us for a fun and energizing community embodied movement class. This in-person event will take place on Friday April 4th from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm, as part of Boulder County Arts Week in the Gallery of Pine St. Church. (Please enter through West door)

In this integrative dance, meditative movement, and mindfulness practice, we move with the fluids of the body to help you come fully into presence and to increase a sense of freedom within your body and mind! This class offers simple, easy to follow movements inspired by different movement forms and set to inspirational world music designed to regulate your nervous system, invigorate your body, and elevate your spirit.

The movement offerings within Shake Your Soul are influenced by both the teachers and creators of SYS, and bring in elements of African, Caribbean, Black, lyrical, contemporary, and modern dance and tradition, as well as Qi Gong, somatic and polyvagal yoga, mind-body centering, and other somatic practices.
