The Schoharie Watershed Summit is a forum to bring diverse interests together to network and learn from one another as we seek to understand each other’s roles in this living watershed.

This program is offered for free to all water resource stakeholders! This includes community members, municipal officials, and planners. Afternoon workshops count toward municipal credits for planning and zoning board members.

Morning presentations will explore historical climate trends and how they compare to current conditions in the region.

Afternoon workshops include (you will be asked to pick one from each session; please see agenda):

  • DHSES: Brief Overview of the PA Program (1 hour)
  • NYSDEC Permitting 101 (1 hour)
  • Hot Button Land Uses (2 hours)
