Program Description

Join Anaston Porter, Water Resources Agent with Clemson Cooperative Extension Service, on National Planting Day to learn about home landscaping for stormwater managment. The program will provide participants with education on South Carolina Native Plants that can help mitigate stormwater runoff and provide great wildlife habitat! We will also go over rain gardens, native trees and various environmentally friendly landscaping practices from the Carolina Yards Program.


Program begins at 3:30 pm at the Village Library in Pickens County
