Sautéed Stand Up is the only live comedy cooking competition show in Chicago, featuring two pairs of some of the best stand up comedians the city has to offer! Four comics take turns performing for the audience while the other three spend the entire show cooking a meal ON STAGE, to be judged by three professional chefs from the Chicago food scene.

Special accommodations can be made for larger parties. Please email thelincolnlodge@gmail.com with information about your party size and any specific requirements.

REFUND POLICY: Please note that refunds are only available by request up to 24 hours before the event start date. Requests for refunds after that will be declined but a credit note will be issued for future shows (via email.) Thanks.

Frequently asked questions

Can I bring a child or young adult to the show?

Yes, the venue is all ages but be advised that all of the comedy+judging will have adult themes, material, and language. Additionally, the cooking smells may be overwhelming for a toddler or baby.

Can I get walkup tickets?

Yes!

Is there a dress code?

Nope - come as you are

Can I get group seating?

Large groups can be accommodated, but please email thelincolnlodge@gmail.com in advance so we can adequately prepare. It is cabaret-style seating with tables of 2-4 chairs, and booths around the theater.

Do the chefs make enough for everybody?

Known primarily for the nation’s longest running independent comedy show (The Lincoln Lodge) we also produce special events, help others organizations to raise money with comedy events and offer classes (Feminine Comique and Stand-Up Seminary) to encourage more community participation in stand-up comedy.
