About this event

Welcome to GOTHAM PARK GARDEN CLEAN UP!

Join the team Saturday mornings to give back by cleaning Gotham Park underneath the Brooklyn Bridge in Manhattan. No experience necessary.

Prior registration is required.

On Saturdays with inclement weather, such as heavy rain, snow or temperatures below 38 degrees, we will cancel that Saturday session and email registered participants.

See you Saturday 10am - 12pm!

Frequently asked questions

What if I've never gardened before?

No experience is necessary! We'll be there to let you know what needs to be done, and why!

What should I wear/bring?

Please wear sunscreen, closed-toed shoes and comfy clothes you don't mind getting dirty, and bring a filled reusable water bottle. We'll supply gardening gloves and equipment!

What if it rains or snows?

On Saturdays with inclement weather, such as heavy rain, snow or temperatures below 38 degrees, we will cancel that Saturday session and email registered participants.

Will you do this again?

Yes! We'll be meeting every Saturday morning 10-12, as well as other times throughout the year. Please check the box to sign up for our email list and we'll let you know when we have other community volunteer events!
