About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

This lantern workshop is for "Take it to the River" Sandy Springs Lantern Parade on April 5, 2025!

It is the City of Sandy Springs 20th Anniversary! People said pigs would fly before Sandy Springs was its own city. Ha!

This lantern is made of an 11 x 17 drawing for you to color with markers. The assembly is easy. This is a great project for anyone who likes to color! All materials are provided including markers, a light, and a carrystick. Kids must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Tickets are per lantern.

This workshop is with lantern parade artist, Chantelle Rytter, founder of the Sandy Springs Lantern Parade and several others. Chantelle is the proud Captain of the Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons. See more of their parades and lantern-making ideas at www.weirdgonepro.com.
