We carry the stories of our ancestors in our bodies, in our hearts, and in the patterns that shape our lives. Some of these patterns are gifts—strength, resilience, wisdom. Others are wounds passed down through generations, waiting for us to witness and transform them.
Join us for a beautiful gathering to honor, remember, and connect with our ancestral lineages through ritual, movement, and shared reflection.
We'll begin in circle, sharing stories of where we come from and setting personal intentions for the experience ahead. Together, we will create a communal altar, a sacred space of remembrance where each person is invited to place a small object, photo, or offering that carries meaning.
From there, we'll shift into a hands-on experience, crafting our own smudge sticks using plants that hold significance to our own personal lineages. We'll then move into a dynamic primal flow movement practice, designed to awaken our connection to the natural elements. A sound bowl meditation during savasana will support a soothing of the nervous system and relaxation in the body.
As we close, we’ll take time to reflect on the patterns that have shaped our family lines—both the strengths we carry forward and the burdens we are ready to lay down. In a final ritual, we’ll offer these reflections to the fire, a symbolic act of release and transformation.
This experience is an invitation to remember and honor the stories that shape us. No prior experience with ritual or movement is needed.
