In NOV 2024, ROOMS at Gunder offered audiences an experimental dance performance incorporating movement, film, audio, personal object, and fabric. This gallery experience of ROOMS, showcases samplings of visual imagery and a chance to experience footage of past live performances. Guests are offered a variety of video installation experiences related to the work, and a chance to see objects from performance up close for a more tactile experience. Gallery hours are meant to be self-guided, though support will be offered by Andrea Cerniglia (director of dropshift), who will welcome guests during gallery hours at Gunder House.
RSVP requested, though NOT required.
Guests may arrive at any point during gallery hours and may choose their duration of stay as they wish. Entry to the space is on the northeast side (rear) of the home by the Berger Park playground via doorbell.
ROOMS brings together samplings from dropshift’s Sense Series: DWELL/burrow (2022), bloom (2023) and objects (2023).
