We're getting back to our roots with Reggae Sunset, a post-work happy hour & party for reggae & dancehall lovers in New York City! Join us on Wednesday March 19th at SOB’s - the city's home of reggae since 1982.

Groove to dub, roots, rocksteady, fusion, and a splash of dancehall spun by the city's top reggae DJs Ayanna Heaven, DJ Gringo, and Jah Wise. An NYC staple for 40+ years, S.O.B.’s is widely known as the premier venue for reggae music in New York City. Throughout the 80s-90s, legends like Burning Spear, Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, Toots and the Maytals, U-Roy, and the Marley Brothers (Stephen, Julian, Ziggy, and Damian) took the stage, followed by contemporary stars like Chronixx, Beanie Man, Sister Nancy, Tarrus Riley, Kabaka Pyramid, Shaggy, Protoje, and more.

Tables are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. There is a food/drink minimum to be seated. For parties of 10+ people, please email booking@sobs.com to coordinate a reservation.

How do I get free entry?

RSVP under the "FREE W/ RSVP" tier, and check in at the door by 6:30PM to secure free entry. Free entry is only valid for those with an RSVP under this tier. Free entry is not guaranteed and is subject to length of line and venue capacity. Early arrival before 6PM is recommended.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are not available for this event, or any S.O.B.'s event.

How can I get to S.O.B.’s?

Train options include the 1, A, C, E, F, M, B, and D. Take the 1 train to Houston St and exit through the SE exit. For the A, C, E, F, M, B and D trains, take the train to West 4th St. and walk toward Houston St.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, apple pay, and credit/debit card at the door. We have an ATM at the door if you would like to take cash out. Cash and all major credit cards & debit cards are accepted at the bar. Coat check is CASH ONLY.

Can I make a table reservation?

Tables are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. For parties of 10+ people, please contact booking@sobs.com to arrange a reservation.

Do I need to bring an ID?

A physical government-issued photo ID (Passport, Drivers Licenses, Military ID) is required for entry.

Will tickets be available at the door?

Tickets will be available for purchase the door. Door prices may be more expensive than online/advance tickets.
