About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Have you ever wondered how to tell what a forest used to be like years ago? Or how you can understand the stresses that brought down an old cedar tree just by looking at it? In this trail walk with Grayson Bo Guthrie, we’ll explore how to interpret the clues in the landscape around us. Learn how the relationships between trees, soil, and natural processes can reveal the history of the land, from how the forest has changed to what kind of stresses the trees have faced over time. It’s a great opportunity to deepen your connection with the forest and learn how to “read” the landscape.
