Raising Our Voices Against Child Sexual Abuse
Come join us at 21 Cobb St for an impactful event where we unite to speak out against child sexual abuse. Together, we can make a difference and raise awareness on this critical issue. Let's stand together and advocate for the safety and well-being of our children. Your voice matters - let's raise it against child sexual abuse!
Jefferson, GA – Child sexual abuse, exploitation, and trafficking are silent crises affecting communities across the nation. In the United States, 1 in 10 children will experience sexual abuse before their 18th birthday, and 90% of victims know their abuser. Additionally, human trafficking generates approximately $150 billion globally, with children being among the most vulnerable.
To raise awareness, promote prevention, and provide healing resources, Angela’s Voice, the Center for Hope and Healing, and Jefferson Church are hosting A Community Discussion on Child Sexual Abuse, Exploitation, and Trafficking on Wednesday, March 26, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at 21 Cobb St., Jefferson, GA 30549.
This free event will bring together experts, advocates, and survivors to educate the community on prevention strategies, survivor healing, and local resources available to support those impacted. Childcare will be provided by emailing Hannah@jefferson.church by March 19th. Limited spots available for infants to 5th grade only.
