About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Queer & Well is thrilled to present the a free monthly yoga series from the amazing Ki Charles (they/she).

Our intention is to create the space to explore breath, movement and connection - uniting us in queer community. This series is all about practices that allow us to tune into the self and explore the emotions that shape our lives. Together, we’ll dive into how these feelings show up in our bodies and how we can use breath, movement, and mindfulness to navigate them with grace and self-compassion.

In a day and age where emotional support is extremely necessary, these finding practices that support you and your body is pivotal.

So No matter where you are in your yoga journey—or your emotional one—this series is for you. It’s a chance to connect within, honor your feelings, and find strength in vulnerability and community.

Ki will be holding space for us on the last Tuesday of each month from 6:00pm to 7.30pm. This is a monthly series, please feel free to join one or ALL offerings!

Ki the yogi:

Ki is an African American, Mexican, Indigenous Yogi, who is expanding the inclusivity of yoga spaces for BIPOC, Queer people. They take inspiration from their ancestral roots to welcome all to practice with them through pairing culturally diverse musical flows with their own learnings. They facilitate connection and free expression with the hope that yoga can be for every body. The SF LGBT Center was the first space to welcome Ki into its community and through yoga they hope to continue to cultivate that vision of unyielding acceptance, faith, and love for one another
