About this event

  • Event lasts 4 hours

Proximity Gap partners with local schools to provide a helping hand for families in need. For those who are ready to make life changes to find holistic health, they join our Proximity Pathways program!

In this bi-weekly session, attendees are coached on goal-setting, finances, relationships, emotional health, and so much more.

Mentors are matched with each client to support them along the way. Think of a mentor as a friend and encourager to keep you accountable, but more importantly, motivated!

Join us for this mentor training to learn more about the process and the curriculum we use to make being a mentor as simple and relational as possible.

Frequently asked questions

What is the commitment of being a mentor?

The primary commitment is showing up for your client during their bi-weekly Proximity Pathways session. These are held Saturdays at 10am. It takes a client 9-12 months to complete the program, and we ask that you commit to walking your client through their journey!

Do I need any experience to be a mentor?

Just a heart to serve the community! Our coaches and the curriculum does the "heavy lifting" so that as a mentor, you can be an encouragement and a friend along the way, providing emotional and spiritual support. We will provide all the training you need!

How can I learn more about Proximity Gap?

Check out our website at proximitygap.com. We will also share more during the training.

If I sign up for this training, does that mean I have to commit to being a mentor?

Nope! If you're interested in learning more, come on out. Showing up consistently for someone is a big commitment, and we want to make sure you have all of the information you need to consider that commitment first.
