This course will cover the two-hours of required pesticide safety information required to recertify a NC private applicator pesticide license. During the class have your pesticide license information handy, this information will be collected at the conclusion of the program.

CLASS AGENDA:

6:00-7:00PM 2025 NCDA&CS Private Recertification Training; Instructor: Charlie Clark, NCDA Pesticide Inspector II

7:00-8:00PM Whole-Farm Approach to Pest and Pollinator Management, Fungicides and their Proper Use, Preventing Herbicide Runoff for Cleaner Water and Greater Profit; Instructor: Karen Blaedow, NCCE Agent

Private applicators must recertify every three years by completing 4 hours of continuing education credits. Two-hour pesticide safety classes (Category “V” Training; this class) and 2 hours of specialized training (Category “X” Training) during the three-year recertification period.

*Recertification through earning continuing education credits must be completed by September 30 of the year in which certification expires.
