Speaker: Borislava Karageorgieva, President - Board of Directors, Chicago Booth Angels Network of Chicago and New York.

The Chicago Booth Angels Network of Chicago and New York (CBAN Chicago & New York ) is a nonprofit, affinity organization founded and run by alumni of the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. The Chicago Booth Angels Network of Chicago and Chicago Booth Angels Network of New York began operating as one organization in 2024. We’re helping to shape the future of start-ups in the US by making high-caliber connections, both virtual and in-person, between alumni who have enjoyed great success in their careers and promising young companies seeking to amplify their impact.

This series features presentations by capital providers and information about how to access different forms of capital. Each investor or lender will speak on:

• The types of businesses they fund and the funding they make available,

• What makes a successful ask for capital,

• Examples of success stories, and

• How to apply/pitch for funds.
