Starting on Fri Mar 28 at 9 am, this in-person event will take you on a journey through stunning landscapes and coastal views.

During this 2-night backpacking trip, you'll have the opportunity to explore the diverse ecosystems of Point Reyes National Seashore, from lush forests to sandy beaches. Camp under the stars, listen to the sounds of nature, and create lasting memories with fellow outdoor enthusiasts.

Whether you're an experienced backpacker or new to the outdoor scene, this trip is perfect for anyone looking to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life and reconnect with nature. Don't miss out on this unforgettable experience at Point Reyes National Seashore!

Itinerary Below:

Day 1 - Bear Valley Visitor Center → Wildcat Camp (via Bear Valley Trail) 

The first day of hiking will be approximately 6.5 miles to the Wildcat campground.  We will climb about 620 feet between miles 3 to 5 which will be the most challenging on the first day.  

Day 2 - Wildcat Camp → Sky Camp (via Coast & Sky Trail)

The second day will be a distance of approximately 9+ miles to the Sky campground. We will climb about 1,200 feet this day and be camping close to the top of Mount Wittenberg.

Day 3 - Sky Camp → Bear Valley (either via Mt Wittenberg or Meadow trail)

The third day of hiking will be approximately 5 miles back to our vehicles.  A few hundred feet elevation.
