DONATIONS: Programs are offered on a free-will donation basis, but participants are kindly requested to consider a $20/adult ($10/child) minimum donation to support our mission, facilities & care for the wilderness. Those who are able to contribute help ensure that access to the healing power of nature is available to all.

DESCRIPTION: Bring your lunch to picnic at the waterfall! This family-friendly hike will be moderately challenging. We will cross rocky streams, trek through lowlands, & hike some inclines. Expect elevation changes of approximately 600' from the Niles Cabin to the Shenandoah River & back, about 2.5 miles roundtrip.

ACCESSIBILITY: All of our hikes offer opportunities to shorten the distance and time. We can arrange to meet individuals or groups seeking a less challenging excursion. Please let us know if you have particular needs or interests, we will be happy to try to recommend & arrange variations.
