About this event

  • Event lasts 45 minutes

Anger is a common, but difficult feeling to work through after the loss of your pet. Your anger can be towards self, towards medical professionals, towards friends and family, and even towards your angel-pet, among other things. No matter what the anger is about, it can be hard to confront it, and you may even try to talk yourself out of it, feeling as though it's not valid.

But even if your anger doesn't make sense to others, you are allowed to feel it without pushing it away. You are not alone. Anger is a very understandable reaction given what you've been through and it doesn't have to make sense to be valid.

There is no experience necessary for this virtual guided meditation.

Everyone's camera is turned off, aside from the meditation guide's camera. You will not have to talk or do anything more than show up exactly as you are, to breathe in unison with others, all over the world, who are walking a similar journey to yours and who understand your grief.

Prepare to be seated - whether on the ground or a chair or couch. Make your space as cozy as needed.

The meditation will be recorded and sent to you via email the following day, so if you suddenly are unable to make it while it's happening live, you will have the recording to keep and use forever.

The Zoom link to attend will be sent out via email 2 hours before the event, as well as after ticket purchase.

You do not need any special props, but you are welcome to bring the optional things listed below.

A journal and pen (or something to write on and with)

Anything to make your experience more comfy, cozy, and warm. I like to have a blanket on hand and a candle lit.

Something to sit on if you will be on the floor, such as a blanket, pillow, or yoga mat. (Option to sit on the couch or a chair is available as well)

Something of your angel pet's that you may want to hold or have nearby as we move through our breathwork, such as pet's collar, pawprint, fur clipping, favorite toy, blanket etc.
