What to Expect:
- We begin with a prayer for safety before hitting the trails.
- 1.5 hours of riding focused on skill-building and fun.
- 30-minute cool-down & lunch—bring a backpack lunch for a picnic-style wrap-up.
- Each week, we’ll focus on a different skill to help young riders grow their confidence and abilities, including:
- Coasting while standing up
- Safely braking with both hands
- Pedaling while standing
- Changing gears & working on cadence
- Cornering, balance, and more!
Certified Coaching & Rider Safety
- All coaches are PMBIA-certified (Professional Mountain Bike Instructor Association).
- We maintain a 1:8 coach-to-rider ratio—for every 8 kids, there will be one coach to ensure personalized instruction and safety.
- Staffing is based on the number of sign-ups, so RSVP early to secure your spot!
- Suggested Donation: $10 per child per ride. (Your support helps keep this program rolling!)
Weather Policy:
If weather conditions are unsafe (heavy rain, storms, extreme temperatures, etc.), the ride will be canceled for that week. We will not reschedule but will continue with the next scheduled ride the following Friday. All registered participants will receive a full refund for any canceled ride due to inclement weather.
