With so many protests happening throughout the nation and in our area, we want to be as prepared as possible if confronted by counter protesters or agitators who show up to disrupt the peace. Verbal conflict can escalate to violence quickly, so please join us to learn some strategies to keep everyone as safe as possible.

About the facilitator: Barbara Simmons is the former executive director of The Peace Center and taught at Arcadia University's International Peace and Conflict Resolution program for 20 years. She is a peacekeeper for the Rainbow Room in Langhorne and for various protests and events throughout the region.
