Event Description:
Join us for "Passport to Wellness" — a fun, family-friendly event packed with hands-on activities! Learn how to grow your own food, get tips on being prepared for anything, and discover simple ways to live more sustainably. Highlights include a gardening workshop where you can plant and take home your own seedlings, plus fun demos on cooking, emergency kits, and eco-friendly tips. Come for the fun, stay for the knowledge — and leave ready to thrive!


🌱 Event Highlights:
Seedling Planting Station:
Kids can plant their own seedlings (herbs, veggies, flowers) in small pots to take home. Learn about gardening, soil, and the importance of plants.

DIY Natural Soap Making:
Hands-on workshop where families can make eco-friendly soaps using natural ingredients like lavender, coconut oil, and shea butter.

Upcycled Craft Station:
A craft station where kids can create eco-friendly projects using upcycled materials (old bottles, paper, fabric, etc.), teaching the importance of reusing and reducing waste.

Emergency Preparedness Kits:
Learn how to create a sustainable emergency preparedness kit with items you can reuse, such as reusable water bottles, cloth napkins, and basic non-perishable foods.

Composting Demo:
Learn how to compost kitchen scraps and yard waste to reduce landfill waste and create nutrient-rich soil.

Eco-Friendly Cleaning Products Workshop:
Make your own non-toxic, sustainable cleaning products using ingredients like vinegar, baking soda, and essential oils.

  • Sustainable Cooking Demo: "From Garden to Table"
    A fun and interactive cooking demonstration where families learn to make simple, healthy, and sustainable meals using fresh, local ingredients. Focus on reducing food waste, using seasonal produce, and cooking plant-based or low-carbon-footprint meals.
