Discover Long Island's State Parks in our returning monthly hiking series through every park on the Island! Each park will feature challenging and accessible hikes each month! This month's hikes take place at Sunken Meadow State Park. This is the more challenging hike. You'll be hiking on sandy, rocky trails.
New participants will receive a passport booklet. Earn a sticker at each state park's passport hike. Earn 10 stickers to be entered into a raffle for a chance to win FREE admission to our 2026 Environmental Education programs!
Note: the Passport to Parks hike at Sunken Meadow on 3/2/25 is accessible, this one is not!

$ 4 per person upon arrival. Meet at the bathrooms in Field 3! Space is limited! Reservations are required! Please make sure every child and adult in your party has a registered ticket. If you can no longer keep your reservation, please cancel so others may have the opportunity to attend. Please try to arrive 10 minutes early.
