About this event

Join Sheila Norman, MA, Parent Coach of the Center for Children and Youth, for Parenting with Your Child's Brain in Mind.

Based on the bestselling book The Whole-Brain Child by Daniel J. Siegel, MD & Tina Payne Bryson, PhD, this workshop will empower parents with the tools they need to help develop their children's emotional intelligence.

We will explore 12 critical strategies for fostering healthy brain development, leading to calmer, happier children. We will also learn about what Drs. Siegel and Payne Bryson refer to this as the "upstairs brain" and understand why children throw tantrums, fight, or sulk and how to minimize these behaviors.

Fee: $30.

This workshop will NOT be recorded.

Registration closes 30 minutes before the event, and the link for this workshop will be emailed at that time.
