About this event

The Bluff Grange staff and Gateway Regional Investigations of the Paranormal (GRIP) invite you to join them for a paranormal investigation of the Bluff Grange. Sometimes it’s the small, unassuming places that offer the “out of the ordinary” paranormal investigating experiences and opportunities. Built in 1922, the Bluff Grange is not your typical “haunted house”. For decades, the Bluff Grange has served the Millstadt area and is known for hosting family events and being the home of the “Fencers of the Corn” fencing team. The Bluff Grange members will tell you that nothing “bad” has happened in the building.

So, what is its paranormal attraction?

After several paranormal investigations by GRIP and the Bluff Grange members, the building acts as a “pass through” for the victims of local unmarked graves, tragic accidents and the curious drawn to the site to tell their stories to those who can hear them. New stories are discovered with every investigation. You will have the opportunity to join in with the GRIP team as it conducts investigations and spirit communication sessions on each of the two darkened floors of the building. Or you can investigate on your own.

Ghost hunting investigates locations that are believed to be haunted by ghosts. In addition to gathering evidence associated with paranormal activity, ghost-hunting teams look for other possible explanations. Among the electronic devices used by ghost hunters are EMF meters, digital thermometers, and hand-held and stationary digital video cameras, as well as thermography and night vision cameras, night vision goggles, and digital audio recorders. In addition to traditional methods, historical research and interviews are conducted at many allegedly haunted sites.

GRIP (Gateway Regional Investigations of the Paranormal) also utilizes what we call an 'experiment' with team members. It is a unique way of communicating with paranormal that you really have to see to believe.
