About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Let's talk about DE&I in the workplace - we’ll sit down with Akemi Mitchell, Executive Director of Standing on Glass and DE&I Champion, to discuss how we can channel our identities as a superpower—celebrating the strengths, resilience, and perspectives LGBTQ+ professionals bring to their careers.

This event is designed to empower, connect, and uplift the Detroit Out in Tech community by providing a space for reflection, discussion, and actionable strategies for thriving in today’s world.

Additionally, therapists and social workers will lead breakout sessions, offering open Q&A, guidance, and support.
