Join Oceanic Global and our LA Hub community, partnered with Bolsa Chica Conservancy and Cariuma, as a Community Cleanup Volunteer to Protect Our Beaches and Blue Planet.

This free event is to help preserve our beautiful beaches and blue planet and is an opportunity to meet our local Southern California community! Volunteers will be tackling plastic debris and litter that accumulates in the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve before it flows out into the Pacific Ocean.

Activities:

~ 9:00 AM Volunteer Sign-in & grounding remarks by OG’s LA Hub Chair
~ 9:15 AM Cleanup to protect Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve!
~ 11:40 AM Impact Sorting & Closing Remarks

Access: Limited parking is available at the Bolsa Chica Conservancy, please consider carpooling! This cleanup is accessible to a range of abilities and ages.

What to pack: Volunteers will be provided with clean-up supplies, including gloves and bags. Come dressed comfortably for the clean-up, we recommend closed-toe shoes and bring your reusable water bottle. If you'd like, feel free to bring your own gardening gloves and reusable bags! There are limited shade areas at the Ecological Reserve, so please consider your own sun protection needs and extra hydration.
