Northshire Booktopia 2025

Join Northshire on May 2-4, 2025 in beautiful Manchester Center, Vermont, for an intimate weekend of talks, signings, celebration, and a wonderful array of guest authors!

Our 2025 Booktopia authors are: Julia Alvarez, Jessica Anya Blau, Harry Bliss, Karla Cornejo Villavicencio, Jennifer Haigh, Jean Hanff Korelitz, Stuart Nadler, Amy Shearn, Shubha Sunder and Helen Whybrow.

Our programming on Friday, May 2nd will include author presentations, book recommendations, and a lovely celebration dinner (with literary trivia!) at the Kimpton Taconic Hotel.

Saturday, May 3rd will feature a group reading and signing featuring many of this years' authors, more individual author sessions, a session with industry expert Ann Kingman, and a Yankee Book Swap.

The festival will conclude on Sunday, May 4th with National Medal of the Arts recipient Julia Alvarez discussing her book The Cemetery of Untold Stories. Ms. Alvarez's presentation will begin at 1 pm at the Southern Vermont Art Center.

It is possible to purchase tickets for all three days, Saturday and Sunday only, or just Sunday's event with Julia Alvarez. All two- or three-day tickets include a $50 Northshire Bookstore gift card. You will receive your gift card upon check-in at the festival.

Venue Information:

• Booktopia check-in for two- and three-day ticket holders will take place at Northshire Bookstore's main entrance on May 2 and 3.
• All Booktopia presentations on May 2 and 3 will take place either at Northshire Bookstore's Manchester store or at the First Baptist Church, across the street from the store.
• Dinner on Friday, May 2 will be at the Kimpton Taconic Hotel at 3835 Main Street.
• The event with Julia Alvarez on Sunday, May 4th will take place in the Arkell Pavilion at Southern Vermont Arts Center.
