About this event

Stewardship of our forest is an important role that we can play in facilitating a healthy ecosystem. Join Ranger Jonah and Iris Chen for a nature walk and stewardship project designed to help you see the beauty in the environment and help restore our forests. Wear long pants and appropriate footwear, dress for the weather, and bring a refillable water bottle and snack, work gloves, loppers, hand pruners (if you have them). All ages are welcome. Meet at the the South Peachtree Creek trailhead near the Mason Mill Tennis Center (McConnell Dr & Mason Mill Rd).

Ranger Jonah McDonald is the DeKalb County Park Naturalist stationed at Mason Mill Park, which contains a 100-acre forest with a network of some of the nicest hiking and biking trails in DeKalb County.
