Grab your journal and come on down to the park and try your hand at a new skill - Nature Journaling! This practice is done to help you slow down and focus, finding wonder in the things around you. Our ranger is able to help you get started with different exercises and prompts for your journal.


What you need to bring:

A journal (any kind will do: sketchbook or notebook, blank or lined)

Your favorite writing/drawing tool


What we have:

Extra pens/pencils/colored pencils

A variety of books on the subject

Plenty of nature


This is a free program for people ages 12+ who either already have a journal or are interested in starting to learn these skills. Please wear clothing that is appropriate for the weather since we will be outside.
