Are you a hands-on learner? One of the best ways to learn about plants, botany, and plant parts is through drawing them! Whether you are a buddy botanist working on your plant identification skills or an artist who enjoys bringing some science to your craft, this course is for you. No skill is required.

This class is on June 7th from12:30-3:30PM. The class will be held at the El Paso County Extension Office located at 17 N. Spruce St., Colorado Springs, CO 80903. We will be spending time in the Native Plant Demonstration Garden so please plan for wearing sun protection. Bring water and any supplies that you would like to use, though supplies will also be provided.

When/Where to Meet: Meet at the El Paso County Extension Office. We will primarily be in the Native Plant Demonstration Garden on the west side of the building.

What to Bring: Personal drinking water, sun protection, any art supplies you would like to try using. Optional: Flora of Colorado by Jennifer Ackerfield hand lens (10X or greater), something to sit on.
