Welcome to Parents' Night Off at Guidepost Montessori Brooklyn Heights!

Your child is invited to join us for a film viewing of My Neighbor Totoro and helping to prepare dinner with a food inspired by the movie.

This in-person event will be held at Guidepost Montessori at Brooklyn Heights. Drop off your child to enjoy making a buffet style dinner, themed arts and crafts, and a film viewing while you enjoy some time off!

When: Friday, March 14th 5:30-8:00pm

Who: drop off your child (ages 3-10 only), staffed by Guidepost teachers

Where: Guidepost Montessori at Brooklyn Heights, 212 Hicks Street

Cost: $40/child in advance, $50 drop-in

What age range can you accommodate?

Children age 3-10 are welcome to join us!

What will the children eat?

We will have fresh fruits available to snack on. The children will also be invited to participate in a food preparation activity to make their own dinner! This month, they will make a buffet of foods inspired by the movie characters.

How will they spend their time?

We will have themed open arts and crafts, food preparation, and movie viewing.

Who will be supervising the children?

Staff from Guidepost will be on site to guide the children through the evening. All of our staff are approved by the Department of Health to supervise children.

Can we arrive after 5:30pm?

Sure! Come when you are able. Kindly note, food preparation will be closed by 6:30pm.

Can my child stay later than 8:00pm?

Sorry - we will be closing the school at 8:00pm in order to allow our staff to enjoy their weekend. Children not picked up by 8:00pm will incur a $5 late fee every five minutes.

How can we pay?

For currently enrolled families, we will add the charge internally. For visiting families, feel free to bring a personal check or request SmartCare access to pay by card/bank account.
