Welcome to Mountains of Opportunity: Building and Innovation in Housing!
This year's conference brings together a diverse coalition of decision-makers, industry specialists, nonprofit organizations, builders, grassroots advocates, and financial institutions to address the evolving housing challenges in Colorado’s mountain communities.
This conference will focus on practical solutions to housing challenges in Colorado’s mountain communities. Sessions will cover state housing policies and funding opportunities, strategies for building in rural areas and implementing effective deed restrictions. Speakers will address unconscious bias in housing, insurance challenges, and energy efficiency in affordable housing. Attendees will also learn about Housing Needs Assessments and the role of Proposition 123, new grant funding opportunities, and how to build local capacity to support sustainable housing initiatives.
After two days of engaging discussions and expert-led sessions, unwind each evening at the relaxing Mt. Princeton Hot Springs, offering a perfect way to connect with peers and recharge.
Join us as we collectively shape the future of housing in Colorado’s mountain communities!
