Join the dark side with photographer and moth enthusiasts Carla Rhodes and Christopher Nilan (Barkaboom Native Plants) for a captivating presentation on the kaleidoscopic world of moths. While showcasing her backyard moth photography, Carla will share why moths are essential to our ecosystem, and how to steward your outdoor surroundings to attract moths. You’ll also learn the basics of “mothing” with simple setups for attracting and observing these nocturnal winged wonders. In tandem, Christopher will present on the curation of his 'moth pack'--a grouping of native plants specifically designed to attract moths.
