Enjoy the show on display in the gallery: CARE (May 10-June 14, 2025) Hera Gallery explores the multifaceted concept of care and its relevance in both our lives and artistic practices. From self-care to caregiving, and the responsibility to care for others, care is an integral part of the human experience, touching everything from human and animal welfare to environmental concerns and personal passions. It is a concept influenced by culture, age, and gender, and is constantly shifting in meaning and expression. Hera Gallery has invited artists to reflect on how the word "care" resonates with them—what images, stories, or emotions it brings to mind—and how care plays a role in their lives and creative processes. How do we navigate caregiving at all levels, and how does it shape our world?

About Arts and Health Partnership: On behalf of RISCA and community partners, we highlight the important role the arts play in individual and community health by amplifying and supporting artists and arts and health programs and collaborations in Rhode Island. Collectively, we work toward fully integrating arts into health-based and community settings through innovative and sustainable policy, practice, and research recommendations.
