The Love Story's aim is to help those who are struggling with their mental health by providing a safe, creative space to express themselves. Our online workshops give you the opportunity to journal with a small group and start to process what you're going through. All that's needed is a Google Doc or journal and a willingness to write. Our workshop hosts leading each session are available to answer questions about how to journal and more about The Love Story.

How do I get to the workshop?

Our workshops are hosted through our Discord. Once you join, you'll be able to see our upcoming workshops throughout the month. The link to our Discord is found in the Eventbrite invite. If you have an issue with the Discord link, please contact us.

Does it cost to join the workshop?

All workshops are free.

How long does the workshop last?

Typically an hour. It may sometimes run longer or be a bit shorter depending on how many people attend.

What can I journal about?

Journaling is unique to each person. We do provide some prompts to help get you started if you don't know where to begin, but we leave it up to each individual about what they want to write about.

What time should I arrive to the workshop?

We ask all attendees to arrive 5 minutes early to the assigned Voice Channel (Mirror Darkly Room 1 or 2) or on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the host may ask you to wait and attend the next workshop.
