Does glazing happen on the same day?

No, pieces must dry and the be fired in the kiln before they can be glazed. Our rule of thumb is at least a week and a half of dry time, and the kiln firing takes about 24 hours. So pieces will be ready for glazing approximately two weeks after your class.

Interested in creating miniature ceramic masterpieces? Then join us at Terra Gallery for a grand ol’ time in miniature wheel throwing. Create mini mugs, vases, bowls, and so much more! All materials provided, no experience necessary, and be dressed for mess.

Each student will work on their own wheels with provided clay. After a week or so you will be welcome to return to the studio to glaze your creations. We will handle the firing and after you will be notified when your piece is ready to bring home!
