What is a Free Walking Tour?

The Free Walking Tours work on the pay-as-you-wish model. Free stands for Freedom of Speech. The guides that are running the tour lived in NYC long enough to tell you their story about the city from their point of view. This is different from what the mainstream media or the internet says.
