About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Aquidneck Land Trust is holding a community-based volunteer litter clean-up at Miantonomi Memorial Park on Saturday, April 5, from 10 a.m. to noon. The event will begin with a meeting at the park's field around 9:45-10 a.m. for some refreshments, coffee, and donuts. From there, we will head into the woods and clean up litter for about two hours using gloves, trash grabbers, and trash bags. These materials will all be provided, so just bring warm clothing for the weather and a reusable water bottle.

The event will be held for two hours but volunteers can decide to stay for however long they want, any bit of help is greatly appreciated. The removal of the litter will beautify the community's local park and protect against wildlife habitat degradation so we hope that you can come and help support these two important causes!

Rain date: April 6, 10 a.m. - noon
