Conference Objectives

  • Describe the benefits of evidence-based nursing practice.
  • Explain the key steps of evidence-based practice.
  • Begin the evidence-based practice process by creating a PICO question for a clinical question or problem you have identified.
  • Discuss development of a culture of inquiry.
  • Practice formulating a PICO question.
  • Reviewing strategies for finding evidence-based on your PICO.
  • Discuss methods to assess the evidence found.
  • Understanding next steps in the EBP process.
