About this event

Join Us for a Vital Gathering of Arts and Culture Leaders!

The Cultural Alliance is more committed than ever to fostering inclusive opportunities for everyone in Western Connecticut. We invite you to be part of an essential conversation that aims to inspire and empower arts and culture leaders like you.

Event Details:

  • Date: March 26th
  • Time: 10 AM - 11:30 AM
  • Location: 256 Main Street, Danbury, CT 06810

This meeting will serve as a platform to connect with fellow arts and culture service providers, share valuable insights, and forge meaningful partnerships. We're thrilled to have Liz Shapiro from the CT Office of the Arts and Scott Wands from CT Humanities to join us as our guest speakers, bringing her expertise and vision to our discussion.

Why Attend?

  • Collaborate: Engage with leaders from various municipalities and organizations dedicated to equitable access to the arts.
  • Inspire: Share your experiences and learn from others about the challenges and successes in our community.
  • Contribute: Help us understand the key issues your community is facing, including the impacts of recent federal policies that may affect our sector, and celebrate your organization’s accomplishments.

We recognize that many arts and culture leaders are concerned about the shifting landscape at the federal level. This meeting is an opportunity to voice those concerns and strategize collectively on how to navigate these changes while advocating for the importance of arts in our communities.

Your participation is crucial in shaping the future of our arts community. If you’re unable to attend, we encourage you to send a representative from your organization. To enhance our discussions, please prepare to share one or two key challenges and achievements from your community, and bring any materials about upcoming events.

Additionally, we’re excited to discuss the Cultural Alliance’s regional priorities that could benefit you, such as the Art Hub: Feasibility Study for Danbury, the AIR Collaborative, and the 250th Regional Brochure.

Don’t miss this opportunity to contribute to a vibrant arts community and strengthen our collective mission. We look forward to your insights and contributions! An agenda will be sent to those planning to attend as the date approaches.
