If you appreciate the complexity of craft beer, you'll be amazed by what real chocolate can do. Put them together, and you'll have something extraordinary happening in Troy on April 10th.

Join chocolate expert Nico Silverman for an evening of unexpected flavors and fascinating discoveries. As the US Director for Diego's Chocolate, Nico brings his extensive knowledge of the cocoa industry and passion for unique flavor combinations to Mean Max Brew Works.

Your evening includes carefully curated pairings of four Mean Max beers with four different Diego's chocolate varieties, each handcrafted in Guatemala using traditional Mayan methods.

Try your best at cracking a cacao bean and our choco trivia session. We will also have REAL cacao pulp to try. All of this is included with your ticket!

Learn to taste chocolate like a professional judge, discover how craft chocolate differs from industrial production, and experience how the right beer pairing can unlock surprising flavor notes in both your glass and on your palate.

Beyond the tastings, you'll explore raw cacao beans, test your knowledge with chocolate trivia, and gain insights into sustainable chocolate production. Nico shares stories from his work with Diego's Chocolate in Guatemala and around the USA, where traditional techniques, environmental conservation, and community impact come together to create extraordinary chocolate.
