The stars have aligned and the veil is thin... the Elder Ones demand you join us for an evening of cosmic horror and existential dread that pairs perfectly with popcorn.

For our March movie night, we'll be watching Suitable Flesh, starring Heather Graham & Barbara Crampton based on the works by H.P. Lovecraft. A sexy, fun and demented film about a psychiatrist who becomes obsessed with a young patient, whose body happens to be inhabited by an ancient eldritch evil.

PLUS! An in-person appearance by Director of the film, Joe Lynch and Co-Editor/Associate Producer Rebecca Howard.

Bring your protective sigils and come dressed for the night, for our Photo Op. We'll have vendors, free popcorn and specialty drinks made specifically for the night (they'll help keep your sanity intact).

IMPORTANT:

• Parking is bad. Give yourself enough time to arrive at 8:30PM
• Please Bring ID. The Venue is a Bar.
There is a 1 drink, alcoholic or non-alcoholic, minimum per person.

Frequently asked questions

What is your refund policy?

This event is self-funded. The cost of the tickets contribute to securing the venue, licensing the movie, and pays for additional offerings we may provide. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds.

Is there talking permitted?

The purpose of these screenings is to watch a horror movie, and have a fun time with other horror fans! So heckling, joking and talking at the screen is fine. Just don't be disruptive, this isn't your one-person show or your podcast.

I need snacks when watching a movie. Is there going to be food and/or beverages?

We'll have free popcorn for you to enjoy. Our awesome vendors will have themed goodies for sale, and drinks will be available for purchase. There will be non-alcoholic, gluten free and vegan options.

Are children allowed?

Some of the visuals and movies during the event may contain scenes that are not suitable for children (violence, gore, nudity). This event is 21+ so please leave the kids at home (summon a babysitter or an ancient god to take care of them while you come have fun)

Can I bring my pet?

No pets please. Some people are allergic to animals and we want everyone to feel comfortable and able to enjoy themselves.

Is the venue ADA accessible?

Unfortunately, the venue is on a second level that can only be accessed by stairs. We apologize for any inconvenience.

I want to sponsor/be a vendor/submit my short film for the event!

Well that's not a question, but we definitely want to hear from you! Please e-mail us: info@thevhssociety.com or send us a DM on instagram @thevhssociety
